CK came into the library telling me he has a historical moment in NUS to share with me. turns out he was almost crushed by a 60m long crane. and this crane fell on a tree 5 m away from the bus stop, and split it into 2. oh my god. i know.
if it had fell the opposite way instead, i would have lost 2 friends who made my life in NUS so much more beautiful than it could have been. pretty shakened. so glad to know that they are alive.
life is so predictable, truly. a crane just fell out of nowhere, without any warning, and killed 3 construction workers, injuring 2. and if it didnt happen to CK and KK, it wouldnt feel so real. It always happens on tv, where you see people dying, and it all feels so far away. we never know how to cherish things until we are on the verge of losing them isnt it?
